Dear Esteemed Scientists and Researchers,
The IV. International Congress on Exercise and Sport Sciences (UESBK-2026) will be held in memory of the late Prof. Dr. Kadir Gökdemir and the late World and Olympic Champion Mustafa Dağıstanlı. The congress will take place on November 19–21, 2026, hosted by Ordu University, in collaboration with Ondokuz Mayıs University, Selçuk University, Sinop University, Giresun University, and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy. The event will be conducted in a hybrid format (both online and face-to-face) in Ordu.
With the motto “Investing in youth and honoring those who have contributed to sports and sport sciences,” we are delighted to announce the IV. International Congress on Exercise and Sport Sciences (UESBK-2026). Through the dedicated efforts of our esteemed academic staff, who have prepared high-quality courses, we aim to contribute to the scientific development of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as young researchers.
Our first congress was held on September 21–22, 2023, with participation from 15 different countries. The second congress took place on December 5–7, 2024, in Samsun, featuring a total of 145 papers from 21 countries, including 74 international contributions. The third congress was successfully organized on November 20–22, 2025, with 192 presentations from 22 countries, including 104 international contributions. All three congresses met the academic incentive criteria for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
The IV. International Congress on Exercise and Sport Sciences (UESBK-2026) aims to provide a platform for presenting and discussing current research in sports sciences, following global developments, and receiving constructive feedback. We sincerely appreciate your valuable participation, contributions, collaboration, and support, and we would be honored to host you in Ordu on November 19–21, 2026.
Our congress qualifies as an international congress within the framework of the new associate professorship criteria determined by the Interuniversity Council. The organizing and scientific committees have been officially appointed through the decision of the relevant governing board and formal documentation.
